The presentation of the book "The Myth of the Nation" of two students seventeen to stop the opening ceremonies for the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy
The ceremonies celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy began last night (Wednesday, March 16) in Fermo, in the beautiful and solemn portraits of Hall of Palazzo dei Priori, with the presentation of the book "The Myth of the Nation" edited by Tabula Fati, written by two young seventeen, Alex and Nicholas Esperide Quon, students from the Liceo Classico "A. Caro.
gave special solemnity to the event attended by numerous, including the Prefect SE Zarrilli Emilia, the Mayor of the City of Fermo Dr. Saturnino Di Ruscio, President of the Municipal Council prof. In Raccichini, l ' ass. Culture of the Municipality of Fermo Mariantonietta Di Felice, the head of the High School prof. Ciro Bove, prof. of History and Philosophy Alessandro Volponi, other teachers at the Liceo Classico, publisher Mark Solfanelli, and many citizens including many young people.
After the welcome ceremony of the authorities, who stressed the importance of the meaning and the fact that two young people have ventured into a publishing venture of historical importance which reveals that in the minds of young people are healthy and feeling a deep sense of the nation.
Presented by the Dean prof. Bova, young Nicholas and Alexandra Esperide Quon, closely followed and applauded, explained the various chapters of their book.
The myth of the nation goes through the stages that led Italy to flourish after centuries of torpor: the debate on capital Rome, the alleged conquest of the South "Artichoke" by Savoy from ' Children of the Fathers of the Fatherland, the inclusion of their names in the marble of the law or in the mud dell'esecrazione.
